The Brow Hike 2010 was held on the weekend of 27th and 28th March 2010. 13 teams took part in the hike, representing 7 local Scout Groups.11 of these teams successfully completed the 22 mile course, with the winners being announced as the 17th Linthwaite team, with a score of 790 points out of a possible 1000. 1st Mytholmroyd pushed the eventual winners very hard to finish in 2nd place (700 points), and taking home the 3rd place trophy were the 12th Halifax Sea Scouts (665 points). The prize for best Team Leader was awarded to Ben Hinchliffe of the winning team, 17th Linthwaite, who also won the same prize last year. He scored 85 out of a possible 100 points for his leadership skills as demonstrated during the hike. You can download the full scoresheet by clicking here.
